The Face (and Hands) behind Vitality by Patricia

I began my career in Pharmacy and Retail, a path I followed for over 40 years. While I truly enjoyed my work, I eventually realised my passion lay elsewhere.

I had always been drawn to crystals, so I decided to explore this interest further by studying Crystal Healing. That first step led me to retrain in a range of holistic therapies, including Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and NADA Ear Acupuncture. Along the way, I rediscovered a deep passion for natural ingredients, simple self-care routines and skincare that supports wellbeing rather than overwhelms it.

This journey gave me the confidence to leave retail behind and fully embrace my path in holistic therapies.

When it came to naming my business, I turned to meditation for clarity and that’s when Vitality by Patricia came to me.

Today, I feel incredibly privileged to welcome clients into my cosy home therapy room in Ardglass, where I offer:

Skincare Journey

During my time in retail, I began to notice a concerning trend, children as young as eight being drawn to social media-driven skincare. Many were using harsh active ingredients, anti-ageing products and expensive formulas never intended for young, delicate skin.

It didn’t feel right. I knew there had to be a gentler, safer approach.

Watching my granddaughters, Elsie and Katie, become curious about skincare, and wanting to protect their young skin, inspired me to create something better. Something nurturing. Something made with love.

And so, LC Skincare was born: a gentle, natural, age-appropriate range designed especially for younger users. Every product is crafted using my knowledge of aromatherapy, my skincare training and the protective instinct that comes from being a grandmother.

My journey continues to grow.

Soon, I’ll be launching the KT Range, a gentle, confidence-boosting skincare line created for teens aged 15+. It’s another step towards protecting young skin, supporting self-confidence and keeping skincare simple and kind.
